Real Deal ROCK HARD PISTON RACK

This is a replacement / upgrade airsoft piston rack that is designed to fit our Ultimate Piston Bodies.

This rack is not essential and can be used as a direct replacement in the event of user induced PME or a failure inside the gearbox that resulted in damaged rack teeth. You can replace the damaged rack with this one. Or if you just want to have the most premium set up for DSG / TSG applications and want a super beefy upgrade just because you can, then its available for you! 

Created by request from some of the most experienced technicians who absolutely push the bar for what is possible in airsoft. This part was in truth designed to handle the extra stress induced by the much thinner tooth profile of the TSG sector gear released by Retro Arms. 

The thinner tooth profile focuses the pressure very sharply into piston's racks, and notoriously ate and destroyed the teeth of many good branded after market pistons. We wanted to provide a solution before a problem ever existed. 

YES, our Gold DSG Racks can totally handle TSG and DSG tolerances just fine. This is just a "Bullet proof" upgrade for anyone going to build something that is just absolutely pushing the limits of airsoft. 

NO, there are no issues what so ever with our gold racks, they are super strong and do not need replacement. 

This rack is 13 points higher on the Rockwell Hardness Scale than our Gold Racks, and our Gold Racks are 4 points higher on the Rockwell Hardness scale than your standard SHS steel rack

Specs 

• Metal Injected Chromoly Steel 
• Heat Treated to Real Deal Rock Hard Spec (Super Hard but not brittle)
• AOE Corrected (2nd tooth removed, 3rd tooth cut to 45°, elongated body)
• Rock Hard Surface Treatment to further increase durability, reduce wear & resistance, & encapsulate the already Rock Hard Rack in an extra layer of protection.
• 9 tooth rack including removed 2nd tooth and pickup tooth (extra tooth after the release tooth on the rack adds integrity)

Installation - Simply remove your current Gold DSG Rack by tapping it out, and insert the Real Deal Rock Hard Rack until it reaches a point where it requires more force. Then you can flip the piston over so you can now press down on the back of the piston, vertically applying downward pressure, pressing the rack in further. Then to put the rack in its final position , tap the face of the rack and that will seat the Rock Hard Rack into place. Enjoy your new hardness !
